The CEO of Consistent Energy Limited, Mr. Segun Adaju was Honored at the Nigeria Green Economy Training, Lecture, Exhibition and Award Program which held on the 16th and 17th of July, 2018.
Segun who had been so passionate and enthusiastic about the renewable energy as he had impacted greatly in the energy sector.
Segun is also the Lead Consultant of BlueOcean Nigeria, a company that has provided extensive expert/consulting services to organisations such as Ministry of Power, Ministry of Environment, State Governments, UNDP, Bank of Industry, World Bank, African Development Bank, CBN, USAID/Winrock International, DfID SolarNigeria Programme, NIAF, EU, Oxfam, Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, Hienrich Boll Foundation, GIZ, Ecobank, Sterling Bank etc.
Prior to this, Segun had over 20 years of banking experience in Nigeria spanning retail, commercial and microfinance and renewable energy consultancy for another 5 years. He has provided mentoring support to thousands of youths across West Africa and a Coach/Mentor under Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program (TEEP), West Africa Forum for Clean Energy Finance amongst many others. He belongs to several professional associations including Institute of Directors, Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies, Alliance for Rural Electrification, African Renewable Energy Alliance, Power For All, Society for Corporate Governance, etc. Segun is the President, Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria and recently elected as Chairman of the Task Force on Energy of D-8 Developing countries comprising of Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.
